A tummy tuck, or abdominoplasty, is an operation that is designed to reshape the abdomen. It works by removing bulges, loose skin, fat deposits, and stretch marks from this region and yields dramatic results.
A full tummy tuck involves a full redraping of the abdominal skin as well as tightening of the entire abdominal wall musculature, with the umbilicus being reshaped and transposed into a more desirable location. A mini tummy tuck is a smaller procedure which principally concentrates on tightening and reshaping the lower abdomen.
