The procedure involves using an injectable filler to increase the volume of the breasts and hence breast size. The filler is very similar to the filler that is used to augment lips but is thicker so that it lasts a lot longer.

The procedure is relatively quick with minimal downtime and instant results. There is no need for an anaesthetic, no scars and the initial cost is about half that of a regular breast augmentation/breast enlargement that is performed using implants. Top up injections would normally be required on an annual basis to maintain breast volume.
