Polyurethane coated (Brazilian 'Furry' Breast Implants) are new on the market in Australia and offer several advantages over traditional silicone-shelled breast implants. They have the lowest reported rate of both capsular contracture and displacement of any implant type.
Although not for everyone, they should be considered as an alternative when choosing which implant type is right for your augmentation.
As always, it is best to be assessed in person by Dr Miroshnik when deciding upon which implant type, as well as which surgical placement technique, is the best one for you.
