In this surgery, the breasts are reshaped/lifted and at the same time, have their volume increased with the addition of carefully chosen, cohesive silicone gel implants. This procedure therefore not only reshapes and lifts the sagging breast, but also increases cup size. Essentially, it is the combination of a breast augmentation and breast lift (mastopexy) all in the one operation. It can also be combined with fat grafting if required. The procedure itself is however, somewhat more complex and hence requires more planning preoperatively.

In some cases, where there is too much breast tissue to start with or the breast skin is ultra depleted, a two stage approach may be required. This is also the case with severely tuberous breasts.
